At YouTube Vision, we value your privacy and are committed to handling your data responsibly. This privacy policy specifically explains how the Auto-Like feature works, what it uses, and what it does not do.

1. How the Auto-Like Feature Works

The Auto-Like feature is an optional setting that, when enabled by the user, attempts to like YouTube videos automatically under fair and transparent conditions:

  • If a video is categorized as short (less than 5 minutes), Auto-Like is disabled.
  • For medium videos (between 5 and 12 minutes): Auto-Like is triggered after 90% of the video has been watched.
  • For long videos (between 12 and 22 minutes): Auto-Like is triggered after 80% of the video has been watched.
  • For very long videos (longer than 22 minutes): Auto-Like is triggered after the user has watched at least 20 minutes.
  • The user must be subscribed to the channel of the currently watched video.
  • If the video has already been liked or disliked by the user, Auto-Like does not trigger.
  • Auto-Like only considers active watch time (when the user is actually watching the video and the tab is not idle or in the background).
  • When triggered, a message “Video is auto liked” is shown on the YouTube player.

2. What Data Is Collected

The Auto-Like feature does not collect, track, or store any personal data. Specifically:

  • It does not access your Google account, YouTube account, history, or personal information.
  • It does not send data to any server. All processes occur locally in your browser.
  • It only checks information already available in the page: video duration, like/dislike status, and subscription state.

3. Permissions and Safety

  • The extension only operates on www.youtube.com/*.
  • It does not access any other websites or browser data.
  • No third-party cookies, analytics, or background tracking is used.

4. User Control

  • The Auto-Like toggle is fully optional and can be turned on or off anytime.
  • When disabled, Auto-Like is completely inactive.
  • You have full control over your video interactions at all times.
